We performed a global assessment of commercially available AMF inoculants across three continents. 10 from Australia, 15 from Europe and 3 from North America. We observed that 84 % of the microbial inoculants contained no viable propagules.
Matt Salomon is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. His thesis covers the topics of urban agriculture and the application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) to improve soil health. Matt holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Technical University in Munich and has an extensive farming background. He is passionate about applied research and how existing technology can be used to improve sustainability in food production.
