Call for Abstracts: Australasian Mycological Society Symposium 2026

 

We are inviting abstracts for presentations at the Australasian Mycological Society Symposium on Friday 21 August 2026 in Auckland, New Zealand. Come share your FUNgal work with other like-minded people.

 

Your abstract should briefly describe the purpose of your work, the approach or methods used, any key findings (if relevant), and why it matters. We especially welcome interdisciplinary perspectives and contributions from a range of backgrounds and contexts.

 

Submission guidelines (abstract template can be found 🔗here)

• Maximum 250 words

• Written in clear, concise English

• Include title, author(s), and affiliation(s)

 

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Accepted submissions will be included in the conference programme as 15-minute talks (due to space constraints, we cannot have posters).

 

Deadline for submission: 30 May 2026
