New book highlights: Fungi for Land - a practical guide for land managers


The Australasian Mycological Society is pleased to share news of an exciting upcoming book publication celebrating the growing recognition of fungi in land management and biodiversity conservation! Thanks to the efforts of many Australasian mycologists, the first land management book to include Fungi will hit the shelves in July 2026. Written by Sapphire McMullan-Fisher and Roz Hart, Fungi for Land highlights the essential role fungi play in maintaining healthy Australian ecosystems. Also featured is South Eastern Australian Field Mushrooms (2024) by Teresa Lebel and Grace Boxall.
